My New Neighborhood

I love my new neighborhood.

The best thing is the time savings I have from good access to BART and the bus. There is convenient shopping, Target, Wal-Mart and the Greenhouse Shopping Center are all close by. I can even walk there.

I have a private patio with a beautiful view of the sunset. My dogs love the patio; they sleep in their dog houses in the shade. The tree gives me shade and privacy, but doesn’t block my view. This is my first sunny apartment. The morning sunlight in the kitchen is a wonderful way to start the day. I’m looking forward to hanging some pictures on the walls, photos of my parents, brother, friends, church family, my pets and kittens I have loved over the years.

The complex has a day care center for kids and a gym and game room. I use the bike and stair stepper but my favorite is the treadmill.

My dogs are very happy and the dog park is a great place for them to get some fresh air.

The bus drivers are considerate. Why? Because they pick me up at the 97 bus stop and take me to the BART.

My neighbors are nice and they look out for me, I think I will find some friends here.

I feel like this is my home.
