Early Learning for Families

What is Early Learning for Families(ELF)?

Story time programs introduce young children to books, rhymes, music, and peer interaction while building a foundation of pre-literacy skills and a life-long love of books and reading. Our popular story time sessions are fun and engaging for children and parents alike. Every story time helps children and parents bond by participating in healthy, enriching activities together.

Who is it for?

For children 0-3 years and their parents/caregivers.

It is based on the child's developmental level and the family centered learning concept.

Literacy Plus encourages parents/caregivers who attend the program to participate in parent reading activities with their child. Backpacks with age appropriate books and early learning materials are checked out by parents/caregivers and returned weekly.
